According to the organizers, the Bangkok Motor Show 2014 will feature 35 car brands, 9 motorcycle brands, and 80 service providers. This year's exhibition will see the introduction of many new models to the Thai market.
As a manufacturing hub and the largest market in Southeast Asia, Thailand is always the first choice for automakers to introduce their new products. Furthermore, due to similar consumer preferences, many car manufacturers often apply a common product strategy across the entire regional market, including Vietnam.
While European brands, primarily in the luxury segment, often implement new product plans tailored to each market, American and Asian automakers like Toyota, Ford, Honda, Mitsubishi, and Hyundai typically introduce their new models to the Vietnamese market after their launch in Thailand.

Even the Ford Everest SUV, currently just a concept, will soon enter mass production in Thailand and shortly thereafter in Vietnam. This is a highly anticipated multi-purpose vehicle among domestic consumers.
The Bangkok Motor Show 2014 is scheduled to run from now until April 6th.
