Ozil and Sanchez cause chaos at Arsenal

Both Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are determined to put pressure on Arsenal's board of directors, if they want them to stay they must offer them a lucrative contract with a sky-high salary of 350,000 pounds/week.

The Gunners' star duo are both entering the final 12 months of their contracts, which means they have the upper hand in negotiations with Arsenal bosses.

Keeping Ozil and Sanchez is a big challenge for Arsene Wenger, after the "professor" signed a 2-year contract extension to coach the Emirates team.

Ozil and Sanchez demand £350,000/week salary

Sanchez and Ozil are currently on £140,000 a week. If the two sides cannot reach a new deal, they can leave on free transfers next summer.

This is a scenario that no Arsenal official wants. If both Ozil and Sanchez are sold this summer, the Gunners will fall into crisis and it will be difficult to find someone to fill the void.

So far, the London team has raised the offer to 280,000 pounds/week. However, the attacking duo is still determined to demand a higher salary, 350,000 pounds/week each.

Faced with this situation, Arsenal's board of directors recently met to discuss but failed to reach a consensus. They are still hesitant at the prospect of having to break the salary framework to retain key players.
