'Parasite' enters top 5 at US box office
The blockbuster "Parasite" increased its revenue by more than 15% on the first day after the Oscar awards ceremony, ranking fourth at the US box office.
Many European and American newspapers such asGuardian,Deadlineconcerned about the film's box office performance after winning an Oscar. On February 10,Parasitegrossed $501,000 from 1,000 theaters in the US, up 15.6% from the previous day. From 12th place (February 9), the film jumped to fourth place, afterBirds of Prey, 1917 andBad Boys for Life.
