Pep Guardiola has mocked Omar Berrada, saying he deserves a stand named after him at Old Trafford if the new Manchester United chief executive turns their fortunes around.

Berrada has been an integral part of City's senior management team and has been behind the club's recent success on and off the pitch. Berrada shocked the Premier League champions by joining their rivals Manchester United last weekend.
The Spaniard and sporting director Txiki Begiristain have helped City excel in the transfer market and Guardiola admits there is a void left by the departure of chief executive Berrada.
Pep Guardiola believes Berrada cannot change MU's fate
"I don't know if by doing this everything will be arranged and it will work," Guardiola said.
"Maybe United think that with this guy, everything will change - congratulations. If that happens then my God, they have to stand up for Omar Berrada in the future because he deserves it.
"Kevin De Bruyne is still at Man City, Erling Haaland will continue to play here so things are not that simple.

"Omar's talent and understanding has obviously moved to United, that's the reality. The club will move forward. We will adapt. I saw him yesterday, we hugged. I wish him the best because he's a great guy."
Guardiola also delivered a strong response to Aleksander Ceferin after the UEFA president insisted they were right to ban Man City from the Champions League in an interview with the Daily Telegraph this week.
Man City are being investigated for 115 alleged breaches of Premier League financial rules, with Guardiola saying UEFA president Ceferin’s background in the law should have helped him make his case while the case was ongoing.
