Peugeot 5008 is ready to take on Hyundai SantaFe

After its official debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, the Peugeot 5008 has begun rolling on the streets, even though the French car company had confirmed that it would start selling this model from March 2017.

The Peugeot 5008 model appearing on the street is said to be the standard version with regular 5-spoke wheels. Meanwhile, the Peugeot 5008 model that appeared in France in September 2016, is equipped with more advanced features with large wheels and many exterior design details are chrome-plated.

Peugeot 5008 2017 has an overall length of 4,640 mm and a wheelbase of 2,840 mm. With this size, Peugeot 5008 will be a competitor of Mitsubishi Outlander, Nissan X-Trail or Hyundai Santa Fe. The advantage of a large wheelbase will help the space of Peugeot 5008 become more outstanding than its competitors.

The interior of the new generation Peugeot 5008 is equipped with many amenities with the second row of seats having enough space for 3 people and can be folded, slid and reclined. The Focal Premium Hi-Fi sound system, Qi wireless charging plate, TomTom navigation and Panorama sunroof are also notable features on this car model.

Similar to Peugeot's new products, the new 5008 model is also developed based on the Efficient Modular Platform (EMP2) chassis, which helps the car weigh 95 kg lighter than the previous generation.
