Peugeot 5008 - New generation 7-seat SUV arrives in Vietnam

Information from Peugeot Showrooms said that they have just received transaction notices for the new generation Peugeot 5008. It is expected that the first cars of the European 7-seat SUV will be delivered to customers from mid-December 2017.

According to Peugeot 5008 showrooms, one of the car models applying the new design philosophy New i-Cockpit, 5008 is a very successful model of Peugeot in conquering customers in the SUV segment, especially in the European market.

Meanwhile, in Vietnam, the European 7-seat SUV segment is still a potential market. Most European models in this segment such as Audi Q7, Range Rover Discovery, Mercedes GLS... are priced above 3 billion VND, quite high compared to the needs of most customers.

Bringing the 5008 model to the Vietnamese market, along with the estimated price of less than 1.5 billion VND, clearly shows Peugeot's ambition to conquer the European 7-seat SUV market in the Vietnamese market.

With this price, Peugeot 5008 is expected to successfully conquer the majority of customers in need of a high-end 7-seat SUV who are choosing a car in the price range of 1-1.5 billion.

In the European market, Peugeot 5008 is equipped with a 1.6L Turbo engine, 6-speed automatic transmission, Grid Control function that allows customizing operating modes on highways, snow-covered roads, sand, gravel, helping the car operate similar to a 2-wheel drive vehicle.

Although the configuration of the new generation Peugeot 5008 in Vietnam has not been revealed, information from the showroom shows that the equipment features are not much different from the European versions.

According to research, Peugeot showrooms are currently starting to accept transactions with 4 basic colors: White (Pearl White), Black (Nera Black), Gray (Platimum Grey) and Emerald Crystal.
