Authorities crack down on case 713M, arresting two brothers involved in drug trafficking.

(Baonghean.vn) -The Nghi Loc District Police have just cracked case 713M, arresting two brothers for illegally buying and selling drugs from western Nghe An province to be sold in Cua Lo town.

In early July 2013, the Drug Crime Investigation Team of Nghi Loc District Police discovered a drug trafficking ring operating from Tuong Duong to Cua Lo, and therefore launched Special Case 713M to combat and dismantle it.

After a period of gathering evidence, at 2 PM on July 27th, in Hamlet 4, Nghi Van Commune, Nghi Loc District, the special task force apprehended Vo Van Tuan (born in 1980) and Vo Van Cuong (born in 1982), residing in Block 1, Do Luong Town, Do Luong District, while they were transporting drugs from Do Luong to Cua Lo for sale. The police seized 2.5 blocks of heroin weighing 86g, two mobile phones, and a motorbike with license plate 37D1 523.57, which was used for transporting the drugs.




The two suspects at the police station along with the evidence related to the case.

During questioning, the suspects confessed to regularly purchasing drugs in Xop Mat village, Luong Minh commune, Tuong Duong district, then transporting them to Do Luong, where they divided them into packages to sell to drug addicts in Cua Lo. Tuan and Cuong are brothers, both drug addicts. Vo Van Tuan has a prior conviction for illegal drug trafficking, while Vo Van Cuong is in the late stages of HIV.

The police are currently continuing to expand their investigation into the case.
