Busting prostitution ring of 3 saunas

When a customer wants to buy sex, the female sauna attendants inform the manager or owner of the facility and agree to go with the customer for 300,000-500,000 VND/time.

On October 22, information from the Criminal Police Department (PC45), Can Tho City Police said that the reconnaissance force had just monitored and dismantled a prostitution ring of 3 massage and sauna establishments in Phong Dien district.

Previously, through monitoring, on the evening of October 21, detectives from the Social Evils Prevention Team - PC45 divided into many groups, raided 3 motels, and caught 5 couples in the act of prostitution.

Through questioning, the 5 girls said they were receptionists at 3 sauna establishments including: TyNa (owned by LTT - 38 years old), Duy Nguyen and Phuong Vy establishments - all located in Phong Dien district.

LTT - owner of TyNa facility confessed: that same evening, 2 customers came to the sauna and wanted to buy sex, so T. made an agreement and invited another employee of his facility to come to the motel to sell sex for 300,000 VND/time.

The three remaining female employees (aged 25-33) also admitted to offering sex for 400-500 thousand VND/time. They also reported it to the manager and owner of the establishment after receiving their consent.

Working with the police, the owners of the sauna facilities Duy Nguyen and Phuong Vy also admitted to organizing prostitution for their female employees.

The police are continuing to investigate the case.
