Previously, after many days of reconnaissance, on the evening of September 22, dozens of criminal police officers from Bien Hoa City Police simultaneously surrounded and raided the above company.
At the time of the police inspection, there were about 50 people inside the company gambling in the form of fish shooting and animal shooting games. Upon inspection, there were about 20 game machines arranged in many different rooms on both floors.
In addition, inside there is also an operating room and a kitchen. The police seized about 500 million VND in cash in large denominations from 100,000 to 500,000 VND along with many books and documents related to the company's daily income and expenditure.
Through initial verification, Tia Chop Bac LLC, whose director name is Mr. Hoang Nguyen Tung Anh (22 years old, residing in Ngo Quyen District, Hai Phong City) on the business registration certificate, started operating in March.
According to the police, the facility has many employees, cashiers, and security guards hired by the owner, however, all activities at the venue are run by a Chinese person from a separate room upstairs monitored by a camera system.
On the same evening, under the witness of representatives of the People's Procuracy at the same level and the Dong Nai Department of Foreign Affairs, Bien Hoa City Police made a record of the incident and organized a search of the above facility.
At the same time, the Chinese subject believed to be running the facility along with dozens of employees and gamblers were temporarily detained for further investigation.
Lieutenant Colonel Chau Van Sang - Captain of the Criminal Police Team, Bien Hoa City Police, said that Tia Chop Bac Company Limited was established under the guise of entertainment with many games, but in fact these game machines were used for gambling activities disguised as Sic Bo. The employees were arranged in two rooms to collect and sell points from players.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Sang, the facility is strictly guarded by a camera system, making reconnaissance difficult. Through verification, the facility operates from 8am to 5pm every day. Determining that this is a disguised gambling den, Bien Hoa City Police have set up a special project to destroy it.
