Gambling den busted in border area, 30 participants arrested
(Baonghean.vn) - After 8 days of ambush, the Special Investigation Team mobilized 40 officers and soldiers to raid and arrest 30 subjects who were participating in gambling.
On April 17, the Investigation Police Agency of Tan Ky District Police issued a decision to prosecute a criminal case of organizing gambling and gambling with the participation of 30 subjects in many localities.
Previously, Tan Ky Police received information from the public that some subjects in the area and neighboring districts had set up gambling dens to organize for subjects in Thai Hoa Town and Nghia Dan, Dien Chau, Nghi Loc districts, and Vinh City to gamble by shaking dice.

The location chosen by the subjects is a rugged mountainous area in the two communes of Giai Xuan and Tan Hop of Tan Ky district, bordering the two communes of Chau Ly and Ha Son of Quy Hop district.
Determining that this was a complicated and serious case, Tan Ky District Police established a special project codenamed 420B to fight it. After 8 days of ambush, at 4:30 p.m. on April 8, 2020, the Special Project Committee mobilized 40 officers and soldiers to raid and arrest 30 subjects who were participating in gambling.

Seized evidence included 5 cars of various types, 40 phones, 15 motorbikes and 249 million VND in cash.
Currently, Tan Ky District Police are continuing to expand the investigation.
