Prison escapee Trieu Quan Su arrested
At nearly 3:00 p.m. today, June 1, Trieu Quan Su, a prisoner serving a life sentence, was arrested in Yen Duong commune, Ha Trung district, Thanh Hoa, after nearly a day of escaping from the T-974 military prison.
Police of Yen Duong commune, Ha Trung district and militia discovered Su at a location more than 30 km from the prison.

On the evening of May 31, in an urgent notice to search for Su, because he escaped from the T-974 camp that afternoon, the police warned that this prisoner was very reckless and dangerous. In 2013, Su was sentenced to life in prison by the Military Court of Military Region 1 for the crimes of:Murder, Robberyanddeserter. At the end of 2015, while serving his sentence in Quang Ngai, Su escaped from prison. Arrested in 2016 and sentenced to 6 more years in prison, on the afternoon of June 3, 2020, Su climbed over the guard tower, clung to the water pipe and escaped to the ground.
He was arrested after 15 days of hiding at a game shop in Tam Ky City, Quang Nam Province.
