Specifically, it was the move of athlete Pham Phuoc Hung in the hanging rings event with difficulty level E (the highest difficulty level is level H). Immediately after that, Phuoc Hung's move was included by FIG in the technical book, competition system with difficulty level E and the name "PHAM" - taken from the last name of the 27-year-old athlete.
This is the second time in his career that Pham Phuoc Hung has had a new move recognized by FIG. At the World Gymnastics Championships held in Glasgow (Scotland) in November 2015, Pham Phuoc Hung made a strong impression in the rings event with a difficult move at level D.
Before Phuoc Hung, Vietnamese gymnastics also had an athlete whose move was named by FIG, Nguyen Tuan Dat, with the 4-turn santo move (4 turns) in the air at the 2013 World Championship.
