Phan Cong Khanh is suspected of defrauding the sale of a supercar on display, appropriating 24.5 billion
Phan Cong Khanh was accused of borrowing someone else's supercar and then selling it, appropriating 24.5 billion VND.
On July 23, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department announced that it had decided to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and execute an order to temporarily detain Phan Cong Khanh (alias Khanh Super, born in 1994, from Ben Tre, residing in District 7) for the crime of"Fraudulent appropriation of property".
The investigation agency also prosecuted and temporarily detained Mohamach Da Pha (27 years old, residing in Chau Thanh district, An Giang province) for the crime of "Abuse of trust to appropriate property".
Mohamach Da Pha is a collaborator at Showroom K Supper, namely K Supper Company Limited (Tran Hung Dao Street, District 1 - a place specializing in supercar business in Vietnam) directed by Phan Cong Khanh.
The above decisions and orders have been approved by the People's Procuracy at the same level.
According to Ho Chi Minh City Police, during the investigation expansion, some more people sent complaints against Phan Cong Khanh and his accomplices to the Criminal Police Department.
Regarding the incident that led to Phan Cong Khanh's arrest, the suspect has now admitted all his actions.
Specifically, Ms. LNTH (residing in Thu Duc district) consigned a McLaren BKS 51F - 821xx car worth 10 billion VND at Showroom K Supper (No. 6 Tran Hung Dao street, district 1) for Khanh to sell on her behalf. On May 23, Khanh deceived Ms. H that a customer asked to buy the car, so she had to hand over the original car documents for the customer to check.
Khanh then gave the car and the original vehicle registration to Mohamach Da Pha to mortgage to Dang Minh H. (born in 1991, residing in Binh Tan district) for 2 billion VND.
When Ms. H asked for the papers and the car, Khanh avoided her. When she learned that Khanh had pawned the car, Ms. H filed a complaint against this supercar dealer.
In addition, when the information that Phan Cong Khanh was urgently arrested by Ho Chi Minh City Police in the above case was announced, a number of people sent petitions to denounce this subject.
Typically, Mr. P (from Kien Giang) accused that in early June, Phan Cong Khanh borrowed a Brabus 800 car with license plate number 68A - 273xx to display at the K Supper Showroom during its opening.
However, Phan Cong Khanh did not return the car. Mr. P found out that Phan Cong Khanh had sold his car to someone else for 24.5 billion VND.
It is worth mentioning that the supercar boss was also accused by some people of appropriating tens of millions to hundreds of millions of Dong through business activities such as: Repair costs, design of K Supper Showroom or money to buy flowers to give to customers receiving cars at the showroom...
Regarding Mohamach Da Pha, there is also a complaint about abusing trust to appropriate other people's property.
Specifically, the petition of Mr. LTS (from An Giang) accused that at the beginning of this year, Mohamach Da Pha introduced him to buy a BMW car with license plate: 72A - 606xx for 1.8 billion VND. Mr. S authorized another person to be the owner.
In April 2023, Mohamach Da Pha contacted Mr. S to borrow the above car. Mr. S agreed and asked Mohamach Da Pha to find a buyer for the car. When there is a customer, notify him, do not sell or mortgage it without permission.
Recently, Mr. S asked about selling the car, Mohamach Da Pha lied and said that he was using it for commuting. However, when he heard that Phan Cong Khanh and Mohamach Da Pha were arrested, Mr. S investigated and found out that Mohamach Da Pha had pawned the car for 1 billion VND.
During the investigation, the Criminal Police Department recovered the vehicle and Mohamach Da Pha initially admitted all his actions.
The Ho Chi Minh City Police Department is currently investigating and expanding the case, calling on related subjects to come forward soon to enjoy leniency under the law. Those who are victims of Phan Cong Khanh and Mohamach Da Pha should report and denounce soon to serve the investigation and handling of the subjects.
