With a dominant performance and excellent counter-attacks, Vietnam U23 secured an impressive 2-0 victory against Myanmar U23. The two goals for Vietnam U23 were scored by Danh Ngoc and Ha Minh Tuan.

Danh Ngoc scored again for the Vietnam U23 team.

This victory may not have much significance in terms of the score, but what happened on the field showed that the Vietnamese U23 team's performance has improved significantly compared to the lucky 2-2 draw against Kashima Antlers of Japan.

More importantly, this can be considered a crucial practice match for the Vietnam U23 team, because at the upcoming SEA Games 27, the Myanmar U23 team will be the host nation's team.

Against a less-fancied opponent with limited tactical options, the Vietnam U23 team started confidently and had little difficulty controlling the game. However, it wasn't until the 32nd minute that the home team scored the opening goal.

Following U23 Myanmar's unsuccessful free kick, the home team quickly launched a lightning-fast counter-attack. The ball was played down the left flank, and Vu Minh Tuan provided the final pass, setting up Danh Ngoc to easily beat goalkeeper Phyo Aung and open the scoring at 1-0.

Buoyed by the opening goal, the Vietnam U23 team continuously created dangerous opportunities in front of the Myanmar U23 goal, but the 1-0 score remained unchanged after the first 45 minutes.

In the second half, the Vietnam U23 team continued to control the game and created more scoring opportunities against the home team's goal at the 27th SEA Games.

In the 50th minute, Vu Minh Tuan skillfully chipped the ball over a Myanmar U23 defender before quickly unleashing a shot, but unfortunately, his effort sent the ball over the crossbar.

However, the home team didn't have to regret it for long. Exactly 3 minutes later, from an attack down the right wing, Quang Hung made a delicate pass to Minh Tuan, who stretched to finish and increase the score to 2-0. This was also Ha Minh Tuan's fourth goal in this training camp.

After doubling their lead, the Vietnam U23 team continued to create numerous attacking opportunities, but Vũ Minh Tuấn, Mạnh Dũng, and Hồng Quân all missed their chances in unfortunate fashion.

In the final minutes of the match, Myanmar also had scoring opportunities, but those situations did not pose any difficulty for goalkeeper Nguyen Manh.

After 90 minutes of regulation time, Vietnam U23 easily defeated Myanmar U23 with a score of 2-0.
