(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of August 2nd, the Steering Committee for the "Building Solidarity and Culturally Rich Community Life" movement held a meeting to review activities during the first six months of 2013 and discuss solutions for implementing tasks in the last six months of the year.
In the first six months of the year, the movement "All people unite to build a cultured life in residential areas" received attention and guidance from Party committees, governments, and mass organizations at all levels in the province. The movement contributed to socio-economic development, poverty reduction, rural development, maintaining political security, and ensuring social safety. As a result, 80.4% of families registered to build cultured families; 695 villages, hamlets, and neighborhoods registered to build cultured villages, hamlets, and neighborhoods. Regulations on implementing a cultured lifestyle in weddings and funerals were incorporated into village and hamlet customs and conventions, ensuring they were organized in accordance with local and family customs and traditions.
