'Strive to put Do Cung bridge into use before Lunar New Year 2017'

(Baonghean.vn) – This is the direction of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa at the actual survey of Do Cung bridge construction on the morning of June 5 in Cat Van commune, Thanh Chuong district.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa discussed with the construction unit and local leaders about site clearance work.

Accordingly, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested: Traffic Construction Corporation 4 needs to coordinate with Thanh Chuong and Do Luong districts to do a good job of site clearance to implement the construction of bridge piers before the rainy and stormy season.

Thereby, ensuring construction progress, striving to complete and put Do Cung bridge into use before Lunar New Year 2017. Do Cung bridge is designed and built with 9 pillars with 10 spans, total length of more than 400m, width of 9m.

Do Cung Bridge is located on the main road connecting the upper Thanh Chuong district including 8 communes: Cat Van, Phong Thinh, Thanh Nho, Thanh Hoa, Thanh My, Thanh Lien, Thanh My, Thanh Duc with Do Luong town and Trung Son, Thuan Son, Da Son communes of Do Luong district.

Therefore, when completed, Do Cung bridge will not only meet the convenient and fast travel needs of people in the two districts but also contribute to promoting the socio-economic development of the localities.
