Strive to put Ben Thuy II Bridge into use by September 2012
On August 8, 2012, a working delegation of the Ministry of Transport led by Deputy Minister Truong Tan Vien inspected the construction progress of Ben Thuy II Bridge.

Ben Thuy II
The leaders of Project Management Board 85 reported to the Deputy Minister on the project's implementation status, the advantages and difficulties during the construction process, especially the difficulties caused by two historic floods in 2010 and 2011 and the general difficulties of the economy in the past time. However, with efforts to overcome difficulties, the construction units have worked overtime, increased shifts, mobilized all construction equipment and materials to ensure the set progress. To date, the Ben Thuy II Bridge project has completed 88.5% of the work volume.
Currently, the project is implementing the final finishing items such as installing lighting systems, railings, median strips and road surfaces on the bridge.
After the actual inspection, Deputy Minister of Transport Truong Tan Vien directed Project Management Board 85 and construction units to urgently and determinedly complete the project and put it into use from September 2012, on the occasion of Nghe Tinh Soviet Day (September 12, 2012).
