US counterintelligence chief warns of 'danger' as companies and universities collaborate with Russia and China
US counterintelligence has begun training companies and universities, warning them about the dangers of collaborating with Russia and China in advanced technology industries, the Washington Post writes.
US authorities say Russia and China are trying to recruit foreign experts to gain know-how that could help them in developments related to artificial intelligence, quantum computing and biotechnology.

"Officers of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence have in recent months begun reporting on actions not only from China, but also from Russia, seeking to make progress in quantum technology and artificial intelligence," the Washington Post reported.
US counterintelligence agencies have also noted China's growing interest in acquiring specialized companies, developing semiconductors, automation systems and genetic research.
