Recently, in her new MV "What I need is just you", Minh Hang was accused by many people of having excerpts "insulting" Ho Ngoc Ha and Chi Pu.

Specifically, Lan Ngoc's line "Choose, if there is that person, there won't be this Miss Ba" makes many people think of Minh Hang tearfully confiding in April 2017 that she was oppressed by Ho Ngoc Ha to the point of having to leave The Face.

So, what Minh Hang wants to convey to the audience is the pressure of an artist when facing their own scandals. She refused to allude to her tumultuous past with Ho Ngoc Ha.

Regarding her "indirect criticism" of Chi Pu, Minh Hang said that she did not judge right or wrong in the MV, but only wanted to build the MV based on current events.
