Phan Van Duc is excited about his return to V.League 2020
(Baonghean.vn) – Before the match between SLNA and Saigon FC in the opening match, midfielder Phan Van Duc revealed that he is in good form and eager to return to competition after a year of absence due to injury.
Midfielder Phan Van Duc suffered a ligament injury after returning from the national team in 2018. In V.League 2019, he played only 1 match and suffered a relapse, causing the ligament to rupture. After surgery in Singapore, Phan Van Duc has been actively training to recover and is ready to compete again.
Regarding his injury, Phan Van Duc said: “Currently, I have been training again for 2-3 months now and am ready to compete. My feeling of form is about 90% and I am very eager to return to compete in the match against Saigon FC.

The medical work at the national team and the club is quite different. At the national team there are many doctors and a good regime, but at the club we only have one, which is a big difficulty. I would like to thank the medical team at the national team, they are wonderful."
In SLNA's shirt, Phan Van Duc will most likely play in the left wing midfielder position. The player born in 1996 did not hide his desire to return to the national team in the near future: "Last season, I did not play and was very sad, but this year the coaches and teammates have helped me, my playing feeling and physical strength have also improved a lot. During the injury, my teammates, doctor Choi and coach Park Hang-seo were always by my side and encouraged me."

“I will try my best to play well with the club so that Coach Park Hang-seo will call me back to the national team. I would also like to thank all the fans who have always accompanied Duc during the difficult time. If Coach Quang Truong arranges me to start in the match against Saigon, I will try my best,” said Phan Van Duc.
