France announces design of new generation stealth fighter
France's new fighter jet will be equipped with stealth technology and artificial intelligence to deal with all airborne threats.

French aircraft manufacturer Dassault on October 23 announced the design of a new generation fighter at the Euronaval 2018 naval exhibition taking place in the suburbs of Paris, according toDefense Blog.
Dassault's future fighter jet has no tail fin, while the main wing is W-shaped. Dassault representatives said the aircraft will be integrated with stealth technology, modern communication equipment and tricycle landing gear to improve safety during take-off and landing.
The aircraft is expected to be capable of dealing with all high-tech threats in the air thanks to being equipped with artificial intelligence.
Dassault CEO Eric Trappier affirmed that this new fighter model is not a copy of the F-35, but is even more powerful and modern than this state-of-the-art American fighter.
German and French officials announced in April that they would cooperate in producing a new generation fighter jet to replace the current Eurofighter and Rafale fighter jets and is expected to enter service between 2035 and 2040.
