According to him, in the upcoming elections to the European Parliament, it is necessary to choose deputies who will change EU policy. Specifically, he criticized the idea of Georgia joining NATO, calling it a "stupid provocation".
Jean-Luc Melanshon also warned against the idea of accepting Ukraine into the North Atlantic Alliance, stressing that Europe cannot control NATO and is not interested in increasing tensions with Russia.
