Malaysian wizard jumps into boiling water to 'perform magic' and the ending

The Malaysian wizard sat in a pot of boiling water for 30 minutes when everyone heard a strange noise, not like usual.

According to Independent, the incident of a Malaysian shaman sitting in a pot of boiling water recently happened near Sanglang Qinglong temple, Ayer-Tawara city in Perak province, during the Nine God Kings festival.

Monk Lim Ba claims to have magical powers and often climbs into the pan to demonstrate “purification of body and mind”.

In the latest incident, the 65-year-old man climbed into the pan, but after half an hour his disciples heard strange noises inside.

When he was taken out, he was unconscious. The monk was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead of a heart attack. Lim Ba had second-degree burns on his body.

Lim Ba has been successfully performing the procedure in the pan for up to 75 minutes over the past decade. Last year, the 65-year-old underwent coronary artery surgery, which left him with shortness of breath.

Lim's son, Kang Huai, 32, said his father was sitting in a sealed pot of boiling water as usual when people heard strange noises.

This sound was different from the other times Mr. Lim Ba "performed magic" in the pot of boiling water, so everyone felt something was wrong.

Kang Huai also confirmed that his father was having problems related to blood pressure.

“When the ambulance arrived, my father had stopped breathing. He had undergone surgery last year and had difficulty breathing,” Kang Huai said.

“Our family is deeply saddened by this heartbreaking tragedy. Our father is gone forever.”
