Launching the campaign 'Journey of 10 million clean hands'
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 22, at Dien Hoa Primary School, the Provincial Center for Preventive Medicine coordinated with Dien Chau Medical Center to launch the communication campaign "Journey of 10 million clean hands".
At the ceremony, over 340 teachers and students of Dien Hoa Primary School disseminated measures to prevent diseases transmitted through the digestive and respiratory tracts, focusing on regular hand washing with soap in 6 basic steps, maintaining personal hygiene, and environmental hygiene. The delegates and students also practiced hand washing with soap.

After the implementation at Dien Hoa Primary School, the health sector continued to communicate at 128 schools in the district with 4,500 teachers and 68,000 students participating. At the same time, nearly 1,300 pieces of soap were provided for schools to practice. Through this, the school continued to be responsible for communicating to parents, reminding everyone to regularly wash their hands with soap to prevent disease.
According to a survey by the health sector, only 23% of people wash their hands with soap before eating and 36% wash after using the toilet. Not having the habit of washing hands with soap will lead to the risk of a series of diseases such as flu, diarrhea, hand, foot and mouth disease... that are easily spread. |
