In 2015, Nghe An province organized the campaign in 151 communes in particularly difficult mountainous areas and densely populated areas with high birth rates. The campaign aimed to strengthen propaganda, mobilization, and support to improve the quality of reproductive health and family planning services for the people, contributing to the successful achievement of assigned plan targets.
According to the plan, this year's campaign will set specific goals such as: ensuring the basic implementation of family planning targets, achieving at least 50% of the sterilization target; 60% of the intrauterine device insertion target; 60% of the injectable and implantable contraceptive target; ensuring that at least 90% of couples of reproductive age, adolescents, and young people in the area receive counseling and information on reproductive health, family planning, and population services.

| Overview of the launching ceremony |
To successfully achieve the campaign's objectives, at the launching ceremony, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee called on the Health and Population sectors to implement several comprehensive solutions, such as effectively organizing propaganda and mobilization activities, diversifying content and forms to suit different target groups, and combining community and direct communication. They also emphasized integrating campaign propaganda and mobilization into the activities of various departments, agencies, and organizations to ensure active participation from all levels and sectors. Furthermore, they called for mobilizing mobile propaganda teams, population collaborators, and village and commune organizations to conduct direct propaganda and mobilization efforts targeting specific groups at the household level and priority groups for family planning, such as women of childbearing age, couples with only female children, and those in religious and coastal areas. This included combining communication with counseling and providing timely family planning services.
In addition, the campaign should be linked to public awareness campaigns and the signing of commitments by citizens to implement population and family planning policies as prescribed. Simultaneously, it is necessary to strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of population policies and strictly handle cases of violations of population policies as prescribed.
