Launching the contest 'Learning about traffic safety laws and providing and using information on the internet' in 2023
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 23, at Nam Dan 1 High School, the Provincial People's Committee organized the launching ceremony of the contest "Learning about Traffic Safety Law and Providing and Using Information on the Internet" online on the Nghe An Provincial Electronic Information Portal in 2023.

The contest aims to improve the quality and effectiveness of legal education on traffic safety, awareness of self-compliance with laws on traffic safety and order, and culture of traffic participants; contribute to reducing violations of traffic safety laws, traffic accidents, and forming a culture of behavior when participating in traffic.
Along with that, the contest aims to raise awareness among people, especially students, about legal regulations in managing, providing and using information on the Internet, social networks, building culture and orienting how to handle issues on social networks...

The contest is organized in the form of an online test for 4 weeks, starting at 8:00 a.m. on October 23 and ending at 8:00 a.m. on November 20. The contestants are compulsory for all students and teachers of high schools; students of universities, colleges and intermediate schools in Nghe An province.The contest is open to all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners studying, living and working in Nghe An province.
To participate, contestants access the website: atgt.nghean.gov.vn, and answer multiple-choice questions related to: Legal regulations when participating in traffic; skills in handling traffic situations, controlling vehicles, overcoming consequences and resolving traffic accidents; civilized behavior when participating in traffic, obeying the law and disseminating traffic safety laws. Legal regulations when providing and using information on the network such as ensuring information safety and information security on the network, culture when providing, using and sharing information on social networks.

Accordingly, each week, the Organizing Committee will finalize the results once, with 16 prizes, including 1 first prize worth 2 million VND and a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and 1 weekly prize for the collective with the largest number of entries and high quality. At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee will select 05 collective prizes for the 5 best units over 4 weeks of competition, the collective prize will be awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and a prize worth 3 million VND.

Speaking at the launch of the contest, comrade Nguyen Ba Hao, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, requested departments, branches, agencies, units, schools, students in the whole province to seriously deploy and respond to the Contest; promote information and propaganda work so that all people know and participate in the contest, thereby creating a strong change in people's awareness of voluntarily complying with the law on traffic safety and order and awareness in providing, using, and exploiting information on the Internet in accordance with the law, in a cultured, healthy manner; practical for themselves and society.

Also on the morning of October 23, the Traffic Police - Order Team of Vinh City Police coordinated with Ha Huy Tap High School to organize the launching ceremony of the model "Safe and friendly school, complying with traffic safety laws" and launched the contest "Learning about traffic safety laws and providing and using information on the internet" online on the Nghe An Provincial Electronic Information Portal in 2023. Along with disseminating the objectives and rules of the contest "Learning about traffic safety laws and providing and using information on the internet", the Traffic Police - Order Team of Vinh City Police organized propaganda on traffic safety laws for students.
At the ceremony, the Youth Union of Ha Huy Tap High School issued a Decision to establish a Youth Volunteer Team to ensure traffic safety and order.
