Launching the First Competition 'Creative Startup Ideas for Rural Youth'
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 11, in Nghia Dan district, the Central Youth Union and Nghe An Provincial Youth Union jointly organized the launching ceremony of the "First Rural Youth Creative Startup Ideas Competition" and the forum "Rural Youth High-Tech Startups".

Attending the launching ceremony, on the Central side were comrades: Nguyen Van Hung - Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization; Truong Thi Ngoc Anh - Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Nguyen Anh Tuan - Standing Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union; representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance; and a number of relevant departments and branches.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Pham Tuan Vinh - Member of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; representatives of leaders of Nghia Dan district, provincial departments and branches, and more than 300 outstanding youth union members in Nghia Dan district. In addition, there were representatives of the Youth Unions of Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, and Quang Tri provinces.

At the Forum "Rural Youth Starting High-Tech Agriculture" there were many opinions expressed and discussed by experts, economists, members of agricultural cooperatives, young people who have succeeded in starting agricultural businesses... throughout the country.
Accordingly, the delegates answered the concerns, questions, thoughts and worries of the youth union members about starting a business and establishing a career in the agricultural and rural areas.
The forum focused on three topics: sharing experiences and difficulties; obstacles in support policies and making recommendations and necessary support for rural youth in starting a business.
Youth union members participating in the forum also exchanged experiences, good practices in starting a business, innovation as well as difficulties in the implementation process; and the wishes for departments, branches and organizations to support rural youth in starting a business.

At the forum, the delegates emphasized that creative startups need to apply modern technology starting from simple things; startups depend on each person's will to dare to stand up to explore ideas, practice ideas or not, thereby arousing the spirit of entrepreneurship and choosing the difference to start a business for the youth union members.

After the forum, delegates conducted the launching ceremony of the "First Rural Youth Creative Startup Ideas Competition".
In the afternoon, the Central delegation and youth union members visited the high-tech milk production and cleaning model of TH Group located in Nghia Dan district.

The first "Creative Startup Ideas for Rural Youth" contest aims to promote, encourage and build the spirit of entrepreneurship, career establishment, and participation in economic development of young people in general; create a favorable environment to promote and support rural youth in particular in the process of starting a business, innovating and creating, especially in the field of high-tech agriculture.
The content of the ideas for the projects participating in the contest is regulated to include the following fields: cultivation, animal husbandry, aquaculture, forestry, salt industry, preservation and processing technology, craft villages, agricultural equipment, and agricultural services.
The competition consists of 3 rounds: Finding ideas and startup projects; building startup projects and the national final round. The winning projects will be monitored by the organizing committee, supported with legal guidance, technology, brand building, and product consumption connections for 1 year.
