Launching the Journalism Award for the Cause of National Unity
The work was used by domestic news agencies and newspapers from October 1, 2012 to June 21, 2014.
On the morning of June 19th, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held a press conference and launched the 11th "For the Cause of National Unity" journalism award for the years 2013-2014.

Speaking at the ceremony commemorating Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day on June 21st, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Huynh Dam emphasized: Together with the Party and the State, the Vietnam Fatherland Front is immensely proud of Vietnam's revolutionary press over the past 88 years. The Vietnamese revolutionary press has continuously matured and grown stronger, accompanying the nation. Chairman Huynh Dam also highly appreciated the contributions of press agencies over the years that have been closely associated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front, contributing to enhancing the Front's activities and contributing to the cause of national unity.
Also at this event, the Vietnam Fatherland Front launched the 11th "For the Cause of National Unity" Journalism Award, 2013-2014. Accordingly, journalistic works submitted to the 11th "For the Cause of National Unity" Journalism Award, 2013-2014, are those that demonstrate originality and accurately and promptly reflect the following contents: the implementation of patriotic emulation movements in localities nationwide, the implementation of resolutions of Party congresses at all levels, the 11th National Party Congress Resolution, and resolutions of the Central Committee; the situation and results of studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh in agencies, organizations, localities, and grassroots levels; the Fatherland Front at all levels participating in building a clean and strong Party and State; preventing and combating corruption, practicing thrift and combating waste; the supervision of cadres, Party members, and civil servants in residential areas; and the implementation of grassroots democracy regulations. Combating and refuting the false and reactionary arguments of hostile forces that oppose the Party and the State and sow discord within the national unity; People from all walks of life throughout the country and Vietnamese expatriates abroad participating in contributing opinions to the draft amendment of the 1992 Constitution…
The journalistic categories considered for the 11th annual awards (2013-2014) include: print journalism, radio journalism, television journalism, online journalism, and photojournalism. Eligible journalistic works include news articles, feature articles, commentaries, essays, editorials, reports, investigative reports, journalistic memoirs, etc., ensuring accuracy and persuasiveness.
According to the Organizing Committee, entries for the 11th "For the Cause of National Unity" Journalism Award, 2013-2014, must be works published by domestic news agencies and media outlets from October 1, 2012, to June 21, 2014.
