Launching the Contest 'Excellent Grassroots Youth Union Secretary of Nghe An Province' in 2023
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Provincial Youth Union has launched the "Excellent grassroots Youth Union Secretaries of Nghe An Province" Contest in 2023 to implement Plan No. 37-KH/TWĐTN-BTC dated March 28, 2023 of the Central Youth Union Secretariat on organizing the "First National Excellent Grassroots Youth Union Secretaries Contest, 2023".
On the morning of August 7, the Central Youth Union Secretariat held the Launching Ceremony of the First National Competition for Excellent Grassroots Youth Union Secretaries in 2023 with the theme "Pioneering Grassroots Youth Union Secretaries in Applying Digital Technology".
Immediately after the launching ceremony of the Central Youth Union, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union also organized a response and launched the contest "Excellent grassroots Youth Union Secretary of Nghe An province" in 2023.
The contest aims to create a useful playground for grassroots Youth Union cadres to demonstrate their knowledge and capacity in Youth Union work and youth movements; at the same time, survey and evaluate the quality of grassroots Youth Union Secretaries in the whole province, thereby discovering examples of excellent Youth Union Secretaries in the whole province.
This is also an opportunity for the grassroots Youth Union Secretaries in the whole province to exchange, learn and share practical experiences in the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement, contributing to improving capacity and successfully implementing political tasks in the locality and unit. Gradually building an increasingly strong Youth Union organization.
The contest content includes: Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party; Action Program of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to implement the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party; Major policies of the Party and State on Youth Union work and on youth and children; Political report, Resolution of the 12th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, term 2022 - 2027; Charter of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; Instructions on implementing the Charter of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
In addition, the focus is on professional work in organizing and building the Union; work of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers, the Vietnam Youth Union; Political report, Resolution of the 18th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Nghe An province; History, tradition, national culture; History of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Vietnam Youth Union; Movements, plans, programs, major campaigns of the Union through the periods; Skills in persuading, mobilizing, grasping youth ideology and many other important contents.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Provincial Youth Union Secretary Le Van Luong hoped that 633 grassroots Youth Union Secretaries participating in the contest would strictly comply with the contest rules. At the same time, they would make efforts to review and demonstrate the role, intelligence and capacity of grassroots Youth Union leaders in Nghe An.
The Standing Committee of the District Youth Union needs to pay attention and actively support the grassroots Youth Union Secretaries of their units to fully participate and achieve the best results.
Nghe An candidates will participate in the national qualifying round which will take place for 4 weeks, from August 7, 2023 to September 3, 2023, organized by the Central Youth Union.
After the online qualifying round ends, the Provincial Competition Organizing Committee will base on the total score of the above 4 weeks of competition and the specific locations of each unit to select 30 candidates to participate at the provincial level.
The national ranking finals will take place in October 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee selected two candidates who won first and second prizes in the provincial round to participate in this national final round.
