In Nghe An, in recent years, all levels and sectors have organized activities in response to World Toilet Day in conjunction with the national target program on new rural construction and the National Strategy on clean water and environmental sanitation.

At the same time, many policies and strategies were issued to mobilize resources for investment in the construction of clean water supply and toilet facilities. By the end of 2018, 69.2% of households in the province had built hygienic toilets.

In addition, there are still many schools, hospitals, agencies; some public places still lack toilets or have toilets that do not meet standards, leading to the easy spread of infectious diseases.

At the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh called on all levels, sectors and local authorities to focus on raising people's awareness of the urgency of hygienic toilets for human life in order to take practical actions; maintain and expand good practices and effective models. Strive for each Association to have at least one typical model...
