2,100 poultry of unknown origin discovered

(Baonghean.vn) - At 10:40 p.m. on October 16, 2017, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station arrested a case of transporting 2,100 poultry of unknown origin without quarantine documents.

While patrolling on National Highway 1A, passing through Dien Hong commune, the working group of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station discovered a truck with license plate 43C-150.04, driven by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thoi (born in 1979, residing in Chinh Nam ward, Thanh Khe, Da Nang city) in the direction of Hanoi - Da Nang.

The truck was carrying 30 cardboard boxes containing 2,100 chickens and ducks, without quarantine papers or proof of origin. Driver Thoi said he was transporting the poultry for someone from Hanoi to Da Nang.
