Moon cakes of unknown origin discovered

During the inspection at Sau An Grocery Store in Hamlet 5, Hop Thanh Commune, the delegation discovered that the store had sold moon cakes named Gia Bao and Gia Huy of unknown origin and without barcodes. The delegation drew up an administrative violation report and confiscated all the moon cakes for handling according to the law, to ensure the health of consumers.
Next, the delegation inspected the Quoc Cuong bread production facility in Hamlet 4, Hoa Thanh Commune. At the time of the inspection, it was found that this facility used raw materials without documents proving their origin, expired, and unsafe for food processing; used additives of unknown origin; the processing area was not hygienic... not meeting regulations on ensuring food safety and hygiene in production.

The inspection team drew up a record of violations and administratively fined Quoc Cuong bakery VND2 million and temporarily withheld its business registration certificate. Previously, the team also inspected and fined a number of business establishments that did not meet food safety and hygiene requirements and required the establishments to correct their violations and re-inspect them. If there were still violations of food safety and hygiene that affected the health of consumers, production and business would be suspended./.
