1-day-old baby boy with umbilical cord still uncut was found abandoned on the side of the road
(Baonghean.vn) - Seeing a wet adult shirt on the side of the road, Ms. Lien lifted the shirt up and discovered that it was covering a newborn baby boy, whose umbilical cord was about 1 day old.
At 5:30 a.m. on August 16,Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien in Hamlet 2, Nghia Tien Commune (Thai Hoa Town) was picking up fallen avocados on the roadside when she discovered a wet adult shirt. When she lifted the shirt, she discovered a newborn baby boy, about 1 day old, with uncut umbilical cord, cold and cramped limbs and scratches on his legs.
Immediately after discovering the incident, Ms. Lien immediately took the baby to the Emergency Department, Nghe An Northwest Regional General Hospital for care and health check-up, and at the same time notified the local authorities.

Upon receiving the news, Nghia Tien Commune Police arrived at the hospital to investigate the incident. The Commune People's Committee also announced the incident on the local loudspeaker.
It is known that the baby boy weighs 2.9 kg, his health is gradually recovering, and is currently being cared for by Ms. Lien at the Northwest Nghe An Regional General Hospital.
