Detecting e-cigarette sales points containing drugs
An administrative inspection discovered that the facility was selling over 1,400 e-cigarettes of 11 different types. Of these, 805 tested positive for the drug ketamine.
On May 5, Thuan An City Police (Binh Duong) said they were consolidating documents to handle a business location selling electronic cigarettes containing narcotics.
Previously, through the work of grasping the situation, Thuan An City Police (Binh Duong) discovered a subject temporarily residing at a boarding house on NA7 Street, Viet Sing residential area, Group 2, Hoa Lan 2 Quarter, Thuan Giao Ward, Thuan An City (Binh Duong) operating a business of electronic cigarettes that showed signs of containing drugs.

At the time of inspection, the above subject had not provided a business license as prescribed; had not provided invoices and documents on the quantity and type of business items.
Thuan An City Police have drawn up a record to temporarily detain the exhibits and vehicles for further investigation and handling according to regulations.
