Martyr's remains discovered along with an aluminum plate engraved with symbols
(Baonghean.vn) - The remains were found at a depth of 70 - 80cm, accompanied by relics such as tanks, bullets, and gun straps. Notably, among the relics was an aluminum plate engraved with the symbols: 934B. DKI. XUAN VINH.
On May 25, 2020, the Martyrs' Remains Collection Team of Economic - Defense Group 337, Military Region 4 discovered 4 martyrs' remains in the Melaleuca hill area (high point 461) of Mr. Nguyen Van Me's family, in Xi Nuc village, Tan Long commune, Huong Hoa district (Quang Tri).

The remains were found at a depth of 70 - 80cm, accompanied by relics such as tanks, bullets, and gun straps. Notably, among the relics was an aluminum plate engraved with the symbols: 934B. DKI. XUAN.VINH. The team is working with the authorities to clarify the above information.

Previously, on May 13, 2020, in the same area, the team discovered the remains of an unidentified martyr. Currently, the team is continuing to expand the search area. The unit respectfully requests that agencies, units, and veterans who participated in combat and served in combat in the above area who know more information about the remains of martyrs that have just been collected cooperate to provide information so that the unit can identify the martyrs.
