Dozens of forestry law violations discovered, more than 125 cubic meters of various types of wood confiscated

(Baonghean.vn) - In the first 7 months of 2016, Mobile Forest Protection Team No. 3 (Forestry Sub-Department) discovered 44 cases of forestry law violations, thereby confiscating 125.66 cubic meters of wood, including 104.509 cubic meters of sawn timber and 21.16 cubic meters of round timber.

Illegal timber was seized by the Forest Rangers.

Along with the establishment of mobile ranger teams in Tuan (Quynh Chau commune - Quynh Luu), Tram Lat mobile team (Chau Hoi - Quy Chau), Song Bung mobile team (in Chau Binh - Quy Chau), PCCCR mobile ranger team No. 3 regularly coordinates and supports all levels and functional branches to strengthen patrol work, detect and promptly handle violations of forestry laws.

By promptly handling violations of forestry laws, in the first 7 months of 2016, the Team has collected more than 514 million VND for the state budget.
