Authorities discover a fake coffee production facility.
Hai buys coffee beans and additives himself, mixes them, and then sells the resulting product to shops in Thanh Hoa City.
According to sources from the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police on the afternoon of June 24th, the Thanh Hoa City Police, in coordination with Market Management Team No. 1, recently discovered a facility producing counterfeit coffee.
The subject is Cao Minh Hai.
The owner of the counterfeit coffee production facility is Cao Minh Hai (born in 1988, residing in Dong Son ward, Thanh Hoa city). Authorities seized 114 bags of finished coffee (500g each), 327 kg of beans, 438 kg of labels and packaging bags bearing the name Xuan Vinh, 43 kg of coffee, 127 kg of additives such as Chinese rock sugar and vanilla, and a bag sealing machine. Initial verification revealed that the facility did not have a business license for coffee production.
Items seized
To produce the coffee, Hai bought coffee beans himself, processed them, mixed them with other additives, packaged them in bags, and printed the Xuan Vinh label to sell to coffee shops in Thanh Hoa City at prices ranging from 70,000 to 120,000 VND per kilogram.
Currently, the authorities have taken samples for testing and will handle the case according to the law.
