Elderly woman's body found floating in canal.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 12th, Mr. Duong Dang Hoang, Chairman of Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district (Nghe An province), announced that the body of an elderly woman had been found floating in the N20 canal in the area.
Accordingly, early this morning, while traveling in the N20 canal area in Dien Yen commune, residents discovered the body of an elderly woman (approximately 80 years old) floating on the water's surface and reported it to the local authorities.
Shortly afterward, the victim's body was recovered from the water, and a public announcement was made to identify the victim and their family.

After the information was shared, the family of Mrs. Hoang Thi D. in Hong Thanh commune (Yen Thanh district) came to confirm the identity and take the victim home for burial, Mr. Hoang said.
Reportedly, the elderly woman's relatives had previously posted information on social media to search for her, but without success.
