Body of drowned male student found in canal
When Dung did not return, his family went to look for him and found him on the canal. At the scene, there were scratches from a traffic accident and a shoe of the victim on the canal bank.
On the afternoon of February 25, Mr. Phan Thanh Giap - Chief of Police of Cam Due Commune, Cam Xuyen District (Ha Tinh) said that the body of a male student who went missing 2 days earlier was discovered in the N1 canal of Ke Go Lake.

Previously, male student Nguyen Van Dung (born 2000, residing in Cam Binh commune) left home on the evening of February 23 and did not return.
Not seeing Dung return, his family went to look for him and found on the surface of the N1 canal flowing through Cam Due commune. At the scene, there were scratches from a traffic accident and a shoe of the victim on the canal bank.
The authorities then dived down and found the victim’s motorbike about 10m from where the scratches were found. Continuing the search, the authorities discovered Dung’s body 100m from where the motorbike was found.

According to Mr. Giap, on the evening of February 23, the victim contacted his girlfriend named T. in Tan Due village, Cam Due commune to come over to visit.
Currently, the victim's family has brought the victim's body back to his hometown for burial according to local customs.
