On the afternoon of October 23, Muong Lat District Police, Thanh Hoa, said they had examined and investigated the cause of an accident in the area that left one person dead.

The victim was identified as Pham Thanh Binh, from Quang Tan commune, Quang Xuong district, Thanh Hoa. The initial cause of the accident was determined to be an accident, due to the driver losing control and plunging into a stream.

Previously, at around 6am on October 23, many people living along both sides of Highway 251 E (Ten Tan and Muong Chanh routes) passing through Sang village, Quang Chieu commune, Muong Lat district, Thanh Hoa saw a pickup truck with license plate 36C - 18968 lying on the slope of Xim stream.

When approaching, everyone was shocked to discover the body of a dead man lying not far away.

Immediately afterwards, people informed the local authorities.

Upon receiving the news, Muong Lat District Police arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation and handle the case. Currently, the victim's family is completing the procedures to bring the victim home for burial.
