Over 1,000 ingredients used to make milk tea of unknown origin discovered
At the time of inspection, the working group discovered and seized over 1,000 food additive ingredients including: milk tea powder, green tea; syrups of various flavors; fruit juices,... produced abroad, without invoices or documents proving their origin.
On May 20, the Department of Environmental Crime Prevention and Control, Hanoi City Police, in coordination with Market Management Team No. 17 (Hanoi Market Management Department) inspected a warehouse storing milk tea ingredients in Xuan Phuong Ward, Nam Tu Liem District (Hanoi).
This warehouse is owned by Bui Van Sang (born in 1991). At the time of inspection, the task force discovered and seized over 1,000 food additives including: milk tea powder, green tea; syrups of various flavors; fruit juices,... produced abroad, without invoices or documents to prove their origin. The total weight is about 1.5 tons of milk tea ingredients.
