Truck discovered carrying 2.4 tons of animal organs for sale
When Tuan was transporting 2.4 tons of animal organs by truck for sale, he was discovered and arrested by traffic police.
On the afternoon of April 7, the Traffic Police Department (PC67) of Thua Thien-Hue Provincial Police said that it had handed over 2.4 tons of animal organs that had just been seized by the unit to Market Management Team No. 1, Provincial Market Management Department for handling according to regulations.
Previously, at 10:00 a.m. the same day, driver Le Anh Tuan (32 years old, residing in Da Nang City) drove truck with license plate number 43C-108.25 in the South-North direction.

When reaching National Highway 1A through La Son intersection, Phu Loc district, officers of Traffic Police Team No. 2, Traffic Police Department of Thua Thien-Hue Province discovered a suspicious truck so they signaled the vehicle to stop.
Upon inspection, the traffic police discovered that the back of this truck was carrying 37 foam boxes containing a large amount of animal organs including intestines, lungs, and liver (total weight 2.4 tons) that were emitting a foul odor.
At the time of inspection, driver Tuan could not present documents related to the shipment as well as quarantine documents.

Tuan confessed to transporting the above organs from Da Nang City to Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province for consumption.
