Promoting people's mastery over judicial agencies

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 11, the Provincial Judicial Reform Steering Committee held a working session to give opinions on the Steering Committee's Operating Regulations and the Working Regulations of the Support Unit.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Judicial Reform chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were representatives of relevant departments and branches.

During the 2011-2015 term, the Steering Committee advised and organized the implementation of judicial reform activities in Party committees, the Vietnam Fatherland Front government and mass organizations at all levels; advised on adjusting a number of judicial reform tasks to suit the new situation; advised on perfecting the supervisory mechanisms of elected bodies; promoted the people's mastery over judicial bodies, etc.

At the meeting, members gave their opinions and contributions to develop and complete the provisions of the Operating Regulations of the Provincial Judicial Reform Steering Committee and the Working Regulations of the support unit for the Provincial Judicial Reform Steering Committee.

Comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Judicial Reform spoke at the meeting.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son acknowledged the comments and agreed to adjust some contents of the operating regulations of the Judicial Reform Steering Committee and its support department.

He requested that the members of the Steering Committee do a good job of advising and organizing the implementation of judicial reform solutions in the Party committees, the Vietnam Fatherland Front government and mass organizations at all levels; advise on adjusting a number of judicial reform tasks to suit the new situation, perfecting the supervisory mechanisms of elected bodies; and promoting the people's mastery over judicial agencies.
