Promoting Nghe An youth on key national projects
Understanding the importance of the 500kV 3-circuit line project through Nghe An province, 74 volunteer teams of the province have maximized their volunteer spirit to support construction units in the most effective and fastest way.

SPEED UP TO COMPLETE THE PEAK COMPETITION PERIOD
Waking up at 4:30 a.m., Mr. Quach Dinh Duong (61 years old, residing in Hoa Binh province) and the construction team erecting 500kV pole No. 370 in Nghi Van commune, Nghi Loc district (Nghe An) only had a few minutes to clean up, eat and then head to the construction site on time. Everyone tried to work early to avoid the sun because, according to Mr. Duong, although the work was not difficult, many heavy structures required human strength to carry. Meanwhile, the weather in the past few days has been hotter than 40 degrees Celsius.
At one side of the construction site, the construction workers - considered the most important part of the project - are also working hard. These are the main workers who directly erect the columns, assemble them from the ground up until completion. Mr. Tran Huu Tuan (49 years old, residing in Hien Son commune, Do Luong district, Nghe An) said that due to the speedy progress, the brothers must try their best to bring the project to the finish line soon...

Despite the hardship, Mr. Tuan, Mr. Duong and the construction workers here always feel the encouragement and meaningful support when more than 90 local youth union members accompany them.
According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Loc - Secretary of Nghi Loc District Youth Union, in the district there are 2 intersections that need support for traffic flow, 4 anchorage positions that need support for clearing the power line corridor; grasping that situation, the Steering Committee of the District Youth Union's peak emulation period has established 6 teams with the participation of 90 union members and youth.

Up to this point, the local Youth Union has promoted and mobilized 8 households to agree with the compensation plan and receive compensation, agree to hand over the site. Participate in supporting the outer ring during the construction process; support transportation, assembly, wire pulling and coordinate with functional forces to regulate traffic when power lines are pulled through... Those efforts have contributed significantly to speeding up the construction progress of this key project.

The Steering Committee for the peak emulation period has established 12 teams with the participation of 180 union members and youth. Up to now, in Nam Dan district, 7/11 houses and 8/18 architectural objects have been demolished. In Quynh Luu district and Hoang Mai town, there are 5 intersections that need support for traffic flow, 25 anchorage positions that need support for clearing the power line corridor. The youth of the whole district have formed more than 30 teams with the participation of 450 union members and youths. Regarding the trees in the power line corridor that need to be cleared, Quynh Lam and Ngoc Son communes have completed cutting down all the trees, while Quynh Tan and Quynh Thang communes have completely cut down the trees proposed by the Electricity Company and the construction unit. Hoang Mai town has demolished 3/4 of the houses and 1/3 of the structures.

The meals were prepared by union members and youths in a clean and nutritious manner, helping the power line construction workers stay healthy.
Those words of encouragement and practical support have contributed to motivating the construction force of the 500kV line 3 to have a solid support in terms of human and material resources to complete the goal on schedule.

AFFIRMING THE ROLE OF YOUTH IN BIG GOALS
Sharing about the 500kV 3-circuit line project through Nghe An province, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy said that the project passes through 5 districts and towns including: Nam Dan, Yen Thanh, Hoang Mai, Dien Chau and Nghi Loc, with a total length of 99.99km. As one of the localities with the largest area, complex terrain, and harshest climate in the North Central region. However, the Youth Union at all levels and the volunteer youth team need to coordinate with the construction units to arrange forces in accordance with the actual situation, ensuring efficiency while still ensuring safety.
At the same time, the role of the leaders of the Youth Union organizations, especially the Commune Youth Union Secretaries, needs to be more proactive and enthusiastic. For the Provincial Youth Union staff, it is necessary to closely follow the locality, step by step accompany, urge and resolve practical problems and difficulties in the most optimal way. In particular, the role of the "Green March" team (young people of the armed forces) in supporting relocation, dismantling and related work has also been promoted.
Thanks to that, as of June 18, the Youth Union has coordinated to dismantle 23/26 houses and 38/43 structures, leaving 03 houses and 05 structures, completing the clearance of the route corridor at 21 anchorages.
The Youth Union of the whole province presented more than 1,000 water tanks, milk, 500 meals, and fruits to construction teams and volunteer teams with a total amount of more than 150 million VND.
To promptly grasp the practical situation, recently Secretary of the Central Youth Union Ngo Van Cuong directly visited Nghe An province. The Secretary of the Central Youth Union expressed his belief that Nghe An youth will continue to be one of the leading flags of the youth in the North Central region to successfully implement the set goals to support this key national project.
