Nghe An Maternity and Pediatrics Hospitalis currently a grade 1 provincial hospital, and is also the final line in the examination and treatment of obstetrics, gynecology and pediatrics diseases in the province. In recent times, the hospital has achieved many important achievements in developing technical expertise and improving service quality. The patient satisfaction rate reached 98.73%.

The work of building the Party, agencies, and socio-political organizations has always been focused on. Most of the professional and Party building targets have met or exceeded the Party Congress Resolution.

Speaking at the congress, comrade Tang Xuan Hai - Party Committee Secretary, Hospital Director, said: Towards the 12th Congress of Delegates, term 2025-2030, the Hospital Party Committee has directed the successful organization of the congress of 31 affiliated Party cells; seriously implemented the participation in giving comments on draft documents of the Party Congress at higher levels; at the same time focused on building political reports, reviews, and personnel plans for the 12th Party Committee in accordance with the Party's regulations and principles.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Creativity - Integration - Development", the Hospital Party Committee sets the goal: "Improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee; building Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital into a Regional Hospital - the final line for obstetrics and pediatrics examination and treatment in the North Central region by 2026. At the same time, developing the hospital into a grade I, specialized unit, meeting the needs of medical examination and treatment, and health care for people in the province and neighboring areas".

Building smart, specialized hospitals

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Phan Duc Dong - Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee highly appreciated the efforts of the Hospital in improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, with the motto of taking the patient as the center. Some key areas and specialized techniques such as open heart surgery, reconstruction of musculoskeletal defects, prenatal and neonatal screening and diagnosis have been effectively implemented.

The hospital has also built a team of managers, doctors and nurses with a spirit of solidarity, high professional and technical capacity. At the same time, the unit also focuses on scientific research, line management, international cooperation, hospital quality management and social security activities, supporting patients in difficulty.

Comrade Phan Duc Dong requested that in the coming time, the Hospital Party Committee needs to continue to effectively implement Resolution 16-NQ/TU dated July 16, 2024 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on building and developing Vinh city to 2030, with a vision to 2045. In which, Vinh city is determined to be the medical center of the North Central region, and Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital becomes the final unit in obstetrics and pediatrics in the region, meeting the standards of a grade I, specialized hospital.

Hospitals need to promote the attraction of leading experts, implement data digitization, build smart hospitals, and improve the quality of patient care, in conjunction with implementing the 12 medical ethics. At the same time, it is necessary to continue to care for the development of the Party, agencies, and socio-political organizations.

The Congress elected 13 comrades to the Party Executive Committee for the 12th term, 2025-2030. Comrade Tang Xuan Hai - Director of the Hospital was re-elected as Secretary of the Hospital Party Committee.
