In Nam Anh commune, we heard many stories about Women's Union officials at the commune and village levels doing housework, babysitting, and taking children to and from school in place of members attending Party membership orientation classes.
Ms. Tran Thi Mai, a member of the Women's Association in Hamlet 3, despite actively participating in the Association's movements and activities, initially felt pressured in 2021 when the Association's officials suggested she join the Party. She explained that her online business, deliveries, and daily school-care duties meant she had no time. However, thanks to the dedicated and enthusiastic efforts of the Association's officials in educating and guiding both Ms. Mai and her husband, along with the Association officials' responsibility to transport her to and from school during the days she attended the Party orientation class in the district, Ms. Mai successfully completed the Party orientation class and became a Party member in early 2023. She is now the Head of the Women's Association Branch in Hamlet 3.

In Nam Anh commune, Ms. Le Thi Hien, residing in Hamlet 6, was worried that joining the Party would leave her to raise three children alone while also running a small business. She feared she wouldn't have enough time to fulfill her duties as a Party member, even though she actively participated in hamlet and community activities whenever possible. However, after receiving thorough explanations from the commune and hamlet women's association officials about joining the Party, she realized that it not only didn't negatively impact her life, activities, or business, but actually improved her. She gained access to and timely understanding of policies and guidelines from all levels; she interacted with many people and participated in discussions and decisions regarding policies and actions to improve her hamlet… She understood the importance of joining the Party and was admitted in 2023.
By doing the above, from the beginning of the 2020-2025 term to the present, the Women's Union of Nam Anh commune has consistently fulfilled its target of advising and introducing candidates to the Party Committee, with 9 individuals participating in Party membership orientation classes, of which 6 have been admitted as Party members.

In conjunction with propaganda and education to help cadres and members identify the correct motivations for joining the Party, women's associations at all levels in Hoang Mai town have also creatively organized many activities and movements, creating an environment for cadres, members, and women to participate and express themselves, thereby discovering positive individuals to nurture and recommend to the Party.
As a result, from 2020 to the present, women's associations at all levels in Hoang Mai town have exceeded the targets set by the Town Party Committee regarding the work of advising, introducing, and training outstanding cadres and members for the Party. A total of 337 women members participated in Party orientation classes throughout the period, and 235 women members were admitted to the Party, including 16 Party members who are cadres of grassroots and branch associations.
In Nam Dan district, in addition to allocating funds to each women's association branch, the Women's Union of the district also trains and recommends 1-2 people to participate in Party membership orientation classes each year and recruits 1 new Party member; this content is also included in the criteria for evaluating the emulation of the Women's Union organization and its leaders at all levels.
As a result, over the past three years, women's associations at all levels in Nam Dan district have introduced 179 cadres and members to the Party committee to participate in Party orientation classes and admitted 86 cadres and members into the Party.
Comrade Hoang Thi Thu Hien - Standing Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union, said: The work of identifying and nurturing outstanding female cadres, members, and women to be recommended to Party committees for Party membership, in order to supplement the Party's strength, has been decisively directed by women's unions at all levels in the province. Targets have been assigned to each grassroots union, and this has been included in the criteria for scoring and evaluating annual emulation. As a result, the results of recommending and admitting female cadres, members, and women into Party membership in many grassroots unions have exceeded the targets set by Party committees at all levels.
Over the four years (2021-2024), women's associations at all levels have trained and introduced 5,506 cadres and members to participate in Party membership orientation classes and admitted 2,209 new Party members.
In 2024 alone, the various levels of the Association recommended 1,485 outstanding members to the Party for training, and 907 members were admitted to the Party.
To ensure that the work of developing Party members spreads among members and women, the goal and target set by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union for 2025 is to have 80% of branch leaders admitted into the Party.
However, the biggest challenge currently is that many women's association leaders are over 60 years old, and some have not even graduated from junior high school. This is a concern for all levels of the association, which is strengthening training and recruiting young people into the Party to participate in the organization, thereby improving the quality of the association's activities and contributing to building a strong Party.
