Earlier, on the morning of June 1st, after receiving a report about a passenger bus operating on the Yen Thanh - Vinh district route carrying more passengers than permitted, the unit conducted an inspection.

When the Thinh Minh bus, license plate 37B-00993, arrived in Vinh City (Nghe An province), it was stopped for inspection by the Nghe An Department of Transport. A count revealed a total of 60 people on board. Many passengers were crammed together due to insufficient seating.

According to regulations, vehicle 37B-00993 is only allowed to carry a maximum of 32 people. Therefore, the inspection team issued a citation for carrying 28 people in excess.

The driver's identity was revealed as Pham Van Thinh (34 years old, residing in Yen Thanh district). The number of passengers exceeded the regulations, forcing the bus company to transfer them to another bus before continuing the journey.

Mr. Phan Huy Chuong, Deputy Chief Inspector of the Nghe An Department of Transport, stated that this violation does not result in vehicle impoundment. Within 7 days of signing the penalty decision, the driver and the transport company must pay the full fine as stipulated.
