(Baonghean.vn) - Taking advantage of his handsome appearance, Cuong changed his name and became acquainted with older women who had failed in their relationships, invited each of them to a secluded place to chat and then robbed them of their property.
On the morning of March 25, the Investigation Police Agency of Nghi Loc District Police announced: The unit has just presided over and coordinated with Khanh Hop Commune Police to successfully break a case, arresting Tran Van Cuong (born in 1992), residing in Block 7, Nghi Tan Ward, Cua Lo Town for the act of"Robbery".
Previously, in early March 2021, Nghi Loc District Police received information: In the area bordering Cua Lo Town, there was a young man who often approached and got acquainted with older women, missed their chance, then invited them out and robbed them of their property.
Because it was related to a private love affair, the victims did not report the robbery to the police. Through verification, the investigation agency found that the perpetrator acted recklessly and disregarded the law. The robbery caused panic among the people. Therefore, the leaders of Nghi Loc District Police established a special project, directed the Criminal Investigation Police Team on Criminal - Economic - Drug Crimes, and coordinated with the police of related communes to fight and arrest this subject.
