There are 3 films on this list that tell the exciting lives of famous people. The Imitation Game, directed by Morten Tyldum, tells the story of legendary British mathematician Alan Turing, based on the biography Alan Turing: The Enigma by Andrew Hodges. Alan was considered to have saved many lives during World War II, when the British army opened an Enigma computer decoding program to serve secret communications during the war and he was one of the creators of the machine that specialized in decoding Enigma. The research team was repeatedly sabotaged by German spies and had to overcome obstacles. Despite his talent, after the war, Alan Turing had to suffer a tragedy in his life: in 1952, he was prosecuted for homosexual behavior because at that time British law stipulated this was a crime. And Alan accepted estrogen injections (a form of using chemicals to lose fertility and sexual ability) instead of going to jail. He died in 1954.

Selma by Ava Duvernay is a slice of life of leader - Pastor Martin Luther King (played by David Oyelowo) in the fight to ensure voting rights for all people. This was a dangerous campaign that culminated in a large march on March 25, 1965 from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama (USA) leading to President Johnson signing the Voting Rights Act of 1965. The film truly describes the pastor's wish: "I have a dream. That one day our nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of our creed, holding to the truth that all men are created equal." The film was highly appreciated by film critics for its artistic aspect.
Not inferior to the two films above, The Theory of Everything is directed by James Marsh based on the memoir Traveling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen by author Jane Hawking. The film is a touching love story between Jane and her ex-husband, the brilliant British theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking. The two actors Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones play Stephen and Jane in the film. "This is truly a very unusual love story, in a special environment when the two characters have to overcome adversity as if life had pushed them together," director James Marsh told the press. The film has won many awards: Hollywood Film Awards, Palm Springs International Film Festival...
