Documentary about The Wall and Tran Lap is coming to theaters soon
The Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio has just completed the 75-minute documentary “Yesterday’s Story”, aiming to inspire the true artists of the band Buc Tuong on their musical journey, while also commemorating artist Tran Lap - their leader.

The film was directed by young female director Dang Linh, Hong Thang and the crew. In the film, special details about the band, family life, love, friendship… are revealed for the first time by the members of Buc Tuong.

This is a return that marks a new turning point for the Documentary film genre of the Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio - a film production unit with 60 years of establishment and development, with thousands of documentary and scientific films of high artistic value.

It is known that the film will be shown at the National Cinema Center (87 Lang Ha, Hanoi) and the Company's Cinema at 465 Hoang Hoa Tham on March 17, exactly 1 year since the passing of artist Tran Lap: March 17, 2016 - March 17, 2017 and the 22nd anniversary of the founding of the band Buc Tuong (March 26, 1995 - March 26, 2017). Next will be the plan to show the film in many other major cities and provinces such as: Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Da Nang, Hai Phong...

The series of events premiering the film “Yesterday’s Story” will also raise a charity fund to support children with cancer at Tan Trieu K Hospital - Hanoi, to help them overcome difficulties and nurture their dreams, with the spirit of lighting the fire and spreading the message “For a healthy community” - as the band Buc Tuong and musician Tran Lap aimed for during his lifetime.
Through the film, the Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio and the production team hope that "Yesterday's Story" will become the story of today, and in the future become a wonderful bridge connecting kind hearts, fueling the spirit of useful living in the community, especially the youth./.
